VA NMI Scholarship

The Willson Aigner Scholarship Fund has been created to offer individuals, who have a desire to serve, lead, or partner in giving of themselves, opportunities to share in Church of the Nazarene missions for the world.  Willson was a devoted and active member of Varina Nazarene Church and a part of the District Nazarene Missions International Council (NMI) representing Work and Witness for several years. After retiring, he began doing mission work all over the world. His legacy is profound - leading many people to Christ, building schools, orphanages and churches all over the world.  His passion was Work and Witness.  Virginia District NMI wants to continue his legacy with offering the following opportunities:

Youth (Teens and College/University)

  • Funds can be used for registration, housing, or travel expense.  Monies are sent directly to the program.

  • Student must provide a one paragraph statement to communicate why the experience will be beneficial to student and what he/she expects to accomplish through the experience.

  • Pastor recommendation (see link) should be from the church where student is a member or attends regularly and is actively involved.
