Care & Connection
The Care and Connection Program of the Church of the Nazarene
Is a network of personal connections between missionaries and Nazarenes around the world. Missionaries are assigned to districts and, then on the district level, connected to local churches. This gives each church an opportunity to become personally acquainted with the missionary family and their field of service. Typically, churches send cards, cash gifts, packages, and other remembrances to their Care & Connections Missionaries.
In return, the churches feel a sense of involvement with the global mission enterprise of the church through regular correspondence from the missionaries, updates from their field, and even through deputation services while the missionaries are on home assignment. The missionaries are encouraged, knowing people care and pray for them. The relationships built over time personalize names and faces that both the missionaries and their Care & Connecti​ons churches value highly.

What was once called LINKS is now Care and Connection
​We are so excited to embark on this new journey of Care and Connection of missionariesandco-labor with them in our prayers, love, and giving.
Please help us to love and care for our missionaries including our new Global MissionaryDanielle Miller. We praise God for the work they are all doing for God’s glory.

With the change of Care and Connections running with the Calendar year, we are refocusingour efforts to bless our missionaries while blessing them even more.

Your new list is up and running and as you can see, we have stopped separating C&C from ourChristmas offering and are combining the two. You will only have one amount to send as yourcare and connection giving.

Participating missionaries are assigned to districts to help foster a personal connectionbetween missionaries and the local church. ACare and Connectionsrelationship fosters asense of involvement with Nazarene Missions through regular correspondence frommissionaries, updates from their field of service, and presentations by theirC&Cmissionarywhen they are on home assignment

We are excited to share our Care & Connections / LINKS missionaries for 2026.
​
Care & Connections (LINKS) is a ministry of personal, prayerful relationship between Nazarene missionaries and districts around the world. Through LINKS, each church is given the opportunity to intentionally connect with one missionary—praying, encouraging, and sharing life together throughout the year.
​
Each church has been assigned one missionary for 2026. Please refer to the attached document for your church’s assignment and additional details. As you participate in LINKS this year, we encourage you to grow in relationship with your missionary, pray faithfully, communicate often, and give as the Holy Spirit leads.

Giving Guidelines for LINKS Missionaries
For churches or individuals who would like to show love to a LINKS-assigned missionary through giving, please note the following:

Letters and Packages

Sending physical letters or packages is discouraged unless the missionary has a specific need and has requested the item.

International packages may involve expensive duties and fees, which the missionary must pay upon receipt.

Whenever possible, coordinate gifts during the missionary’s home assignment rather than shipping overseas.

Please always ask the missionary before mailing anything.

Financial Gifts

There are multiple approved ways to give financially (details are included in the attached document).

Please do not give cash or personal checks directly to a missionary.

These gifts are considered taxable income.

A 1099 tax form would be required for the missionary’s year-end taxes.
