2024 VA NCM Project
SEA: CAMBODIA MEDICAL AID

Cambodian pastors, leaders, and their families serve the Lord with passion and determination to reach their neighbors, villages, and communities with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Most of them are bi-vocational, serving their local churches and also working as farmers and fishermen, so they can provide their families with the basic needs of food, water, and housing. Due to the lack of clean and accessible drinking water, lack of proper hygiene and sanitation, hot weather, as well as the age of many of our pastors and leaders, they can easily become sick or suffer with illnesses that require medicine or medical treatment. When this happens, they suffer in silence or often go without treatment, because of their lack of funds and the high costs of going to visit a doctor. Because they do not have the ability to pay for medicine, surgeries, scans, treatment, or check-ups, their pain, illnesses, diseases, and injuries go untreated, sometimes resulting in death.

Giving to this project helps pastors and leaders to faithfully continue to be obedient to the call of God, instead of having to decide between buying rice to feed their families or using their money for medical treatment. By giving to Cambodia Medical Aid, you can help pastors, leaders, and their spouses protect their health, treat their illnesses, purchase medicine, and receive diagnostic scans and X-rays that will help them determine how to have a better quality of life. Thank you for being willing to be a part of what God is doing through faithful Nazarene brothers and sisters in Christ in Cambodia! We are one family in Christ and it takes all of us working together to see the mission of God accomplished in Cambodia and around the world!

“Maui Wildfire Response"
Virginia District Responds to Hawaii

The Pukalani Community Church of the Nazarene (Pukalani Hawaii), has a ministry to the homeless and those in need in the Lahaina area.  When the devastating fires hit that area, Pukalani church stepped up that ministry, using their bus to distribute non-perishable food and fresh produce and other necessities like blankets, clothes & school supplies as well as resources for fresh water.  Funds that we give through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries for the Maui Wildfire Relief Effort will go directly to help them. It’s a current and ongoing need as they work to help people rebuild their lives.  Funds are also used for temporary housing, mental health care and medical needs. Please raise awareness to your church and receive an offering to help them recover.
